so since i bought my boat it has run pretty good, i added the tunnel tam and 850 carb this weekend. last night my chick asked how a carb worked. so i grab the holley i just took off (vac secondary 600 i think) and the butterflies for the vac sec are rusted shut, they havent worked in a LOOOOOOOOng time. how much power do you think i was short? it would only rev to like 4200 or so??????

with the tunnel ram and ignition maybe 4500

nordie are 460's ok with running sustained hi rpm's?

mine i kept mine wide open for good amounts of time like maybe 5 mins or so, but usually ran 3500 rpm
