Title: Some Boat Bling...
Post by: TJS Nordic on May 06, 2008, 04:25:59 PM
This is a water inlet adapter that was just clamped onto some alum angle last year. I am getting ready to get wet so I turned up some bushings and threaded them. Then welded them to the tube. The angle will mount to the stringer. I still have some lightening to do to the angle. This tube will have a bypass system on it as well as a strainer on the inlet side. The AN fitting will feed the banderlog valve.

Got it all mounted today. Better than the stupid clamps I had last year.
Also a pic of my Banderlog set up.

"You can rig my sled anytime sailor"  I said in my most heterosexual voice.  That is one clean job.

Thanks Glass. I am getting ready for the season and to start it off there is going to be a car/bike/truck show locally. The promoter of the show said I can bring my boat so now I am doing some polishing. The lake water here has a lot of minerals in it and it kills the alum. So I took that parts I could off and used the baldor wheel with tripoli and then white rouge. I did my puke tank and one valve cover. I also hand polished my bell housing and some other do dads.
Here are a couple of pics.
The other valve cover still needs to be removed and done. You can see the water spots in it and it does not come off with hand polishing.
