I was doing a tune up on my chevy 1500 and I was changing the plugs and the #6 plug won't free up. I tried liquid wrench and tried running it for awhile to get it hot. Any other options?

Sometimes if you try to tighten the plug before loosening works

How many miles are on the truck? Just curious as I have never changed them in my work truck. Its a 2002 w/140k..

I just rolled 300,000. Thought I would give the ol' girl a tune up. Normally I change the plugs every 75,000 or so. Never had this happen before. :banghead: :banghead:

Given the circumstance I'd leave that plug alone. One old plug is better than a heli coil.

Yeah, I ended up reconnecting the plug wire and leavin it alone. She doesn't run any different. Besides there are 7 others to pick up the slack. Thanks for the replies.
