Heres a pic of the rear motor mount from my friends 73 kona. It has a BBF in it and I have never seen this type of rear engine mount before. it has the 2 feet that stick out and go right over the 2 front mounting holes for the jet and theres a 1/2 inch bolt that goes thru the mount, thru the jet and thru the bottom of the boat and it has washers and a nut under the boat. Any Ideas? it looks VERY strong and my friends BBF pushes upwards of 800HP and it hasnt given him any probs.

That motor mount setup is very typical Jacuzzi rear installation , that is the Jacuzzi equivalant of what we call a "three point mount". (auto type side mts and the rear support) Berkeley set ups use an rubber insulator that has a bell hsg clamp over a jet drive brg cap , we typically reserve (recommend ) "three point mts" for low to moderate HP up to 400 or so ... Big HP should have 4 point mts minimum and rail system as Omar displayed is the weapon of choice IMO !
