Title: Starters
Post by: bshaw on May 14, 2016, 11:56:17 AM
Is it worth trying to run a regular starter or should I just spend the money and get a nice marine starter? Bbf

I am also in need of a starter, I currently have a IMI Nippon Densi High Torque
P/N IMI-301-303, and was looking for the same one. It's also on a Ford 460

Went through  three mini hi torque starters. Found out dura last makes a stock smaller high torque starter . Looks nice and is good  with a warranty  , ask for a 1993 starter for a f250 with a 460.

Imi hi torque starters in Whittier. Best money I've spent. Just touch the key and it starts. Make sure you bring the old one in. So they can easily match you up with a new one.
