Title: Switching from 455 to 454 in 71 Holmes
Post by: billymachete on February 13, 2018, 03:26:21 PM
Is it possible to get anything I have in regards to motor mounts from the olds to work on the chevy? I know I can get an adapter that will get the bellhousing part on but haven’t really looked at the front mount and was just wondering if anyone had ever done it?

motor mounts are totally different. Starter is on the other side. Youll need a driveline, exhaust, and ft & rr mounts for a chevy. Yes, it can be done, but starting with a complete 454 marine motor is a lot easier.

Just my $0.02
