HELP!    my tach is a medallion (stock matching the rest of the gauges) the problem is theres no place for a +ign wire!  just the ground and sig terminals.  were they 2 wire units???  :screwy:

Should be two wire, works off of the ignition pulses, some outboard tachs did the same thing.

Did it work before?  I wonder, could it ground through the mounting bracket?

It worked before. I traced wiring back to the coil, some one switched tack lead @ coil to the + side. I didnt pull the boat apart 3 or 4 years ago.. Works now, thanks  Marcel
