Are you suppose to run a Tstat? My uncles got a eliminator ski boat. We are putting the engine back in and that question cane up.... I’m not sure.

It depends on ur set up , most jet guys don’t run them because the can adjust the temp with a gate valve . Some will use them to slow the water down to keep the water longer in the block , it’s a personal preference thing , my buddy’s 210s hallett has one because he runs injection and the system looks at the water temp and adjusts for it . But old school set ups u really don’t need them , just run with the gate valve .
