What are the Pros/Cons of going from logs to through transom headers?
Better air flow?
I'm thinking of going to a through transom headers, if anyone has some I'd be willing to sell my Edlebrock logs or trade for some. Let me know if anyone wants them or wants to trade.

How much for the logs? Where are you located?

More HP... like 30 more. Be careful on the valve if you get the ball/spring type. I've seen sand get to it and kept water from getting to exhaust causing the rubber to melt and then the river is inside your boat that quick.

the logs are gonna be nice and cool whereas the headers are gonna be hot hot hot. all for what... 20hp? stay with the logs or go center rise.

Next in line for logs!

So I don't want to thread jack here, but I've tossed around the idea of swapping out my logs for a set of center risers. How much would this benefit me? I do have a doghouse that I'd need to modify, but I really need to do that any ways...
