I have a 460 with stock bottom end a cam and assault racing heidistributor where should my timing be set
-
Pic is specs for cam
-
I've always been told the Ford doesn't like as much timing as the Chevy. I'd say start at 30 and work up to 32-33 degrees total.

3000 rpm, 32 degrees. Adjust idle and don't worry about timing at idle.
