Title: To the Bubble Deck Chevy guys
Post by: East County Kona on January 25, 2015, 12:34:44 PM: Curious to know what oil pan you guys are running? Will the 10qt RV oil pan fit? I have a 79 Crusader and Glenwood mounts. I've never seen this hull with an engine mounted. Doesn't look like a lot of room will be left under the block.

I have a Dooley on mine and Hamburger on the marathon motor. They are both only 6 1/4" deep I believe. The pan you are taking about is likely 8" deep and without having the motor forward, will not clear the intake.

IMHO the Hamburger is a superior pan, but I would run either and expect the same results...

Like the inside has a windage tray I think it's called and that's held in with Zeus fittings
And it has all the baffles/flappy doors that I see all the big boy custom pans have
And it takes 12 and it's right at full on the dipstick
