Is there anything special about these engines? As for what Ive searched it's only saying that tonawanda is where it was made.

Nothing special. It was a sales pitch from GM to squash the Mexican made engine issues they created for themselves.

Not a bad engine, but not super trick.

ok thanks. Is there any difference with this oil pan and older model 454 pans?
