Title: Tunnel Ram linkage
Post by: The Chaz on January 20, 2008, 10:22:57 AM
Does anyone know if this is all I need for the linkage?

Why does this one have so many more parts?

Chaz , If you would like to come over and check out mine you are more than welcome to. But I think what carbs you run have a lot to do with the linkage you will need.

the top linkage is for inline carbs and the bottom linkage is for sideways carbs, also the sideways comes in 4 sets 4150 carbs 4500 carbs and also 2 sets of blowers set ups, so be carefull when ordering, Jim

I have both setups if you want pics. The Sideways carbs allow for quick jet changes (and fitment on short manifolds, and even the ability to run a quad dual plane if you reverse one of them) but require more complex linkage.

Most likely I will be running them inline.  I don't know how to tune a carb yet so that wont be an issue.
