Chaz, Have you got a pic of what you have?
-
Go to Marc's house and look at his, or there are a few variations on eBay that you can look at for pics.

This is how it was hooked up before
There is an aluminum "s" shaped piece that I bolt to the intake it has a hold down that clamps the rod sleeve down. then the rod attaches to the carb.

What I need to see is the place that the red cable connects to the carbs. I have the linkage that connects them together.

Does this help? Sorry about the messy photo but it's the only one I could find right now.

For a single carb it would work. Do you have a single or double?

Here is my entire new set up: double carbs, 2 holley 600's inline on a weiand tunnel ram, with a Hilborne Scoop

I am still setting mine up but here is what I have so far, and here is the cable clip you'll need. The only thing I am not to sure about is the cable has to loop up to connect to throttle bracket, and it kinda just sticks out there (oh shit handle for the backseat passengers) , I havn't actually hooked it up but I am almost sure I will have to bend or angle the bracket differently so the cables arc doesn't hang out there to far.
Hope this helps,

That look nice ;D

So you can get the plate from Summit and it's a lot cheaper than one from one of the boat outfits. I am making mine out of 1/4" plate aluminum due to the EGR hole in the intake and I have to plug it off some way. Later on I'll put a new intake on it but for now I just want to get it running so I can break in the cam.

Thats what scares me, it turned out so cool I just know something isn't going to work just right and I'll have to re-do it. I think thats why I havn't hooked up the cable and fuel line ;D, besides I kinda like it sitting there on the entertainment center.

That's an expensive trophy for doing nothing but hooking rods and springs together. :D :D :D Looks cool though. ;)

Just hook up your front carb like your single was and run the long rod between them, shitcan the rest of it.

I'm not an artist!
I think the designer of the linkage had this in mind
[attachimg=#]
and HDriderTH suggests something like this instead
[attachimg=#]
Marcs is totaly different, his carbs are turned the other way, sideways.

I think the second diagram is the best way to do it. I don't quite understand how the "T" works.

I have the same tunnel ram. Come over and take a look. Except my carbs are sideways.
-
Once all the stuff gets here (in the mail) I will mock it up. If I still cant figure it out I will call you Marc. Thanks everyone for the advice! ;D

i sure dig hotrods diagrams!! ::) :o (so cool)

you can kind of see how i did mine, the linkage and cable connect to the rear carb and pull the front carb to open, so far i have had no problems with this set up
