Any one know where I can find turnbuckles like the ones in the picture around Fullerton Ca. I've already been to mcfadden dale and a few other auto stores. I want one like this to adjust my alternator

did u just make it out of some aluminum bar stock? I was thing about making one too.

I found some hexagonal t-6 aluminum at the recycle yard and had my neighbor bore and thread it, one left hand and one right hand 7/16" fine thread, I used long thread rod ends from McMaster Carr, had them in one day.

Also, check out Tractor Supply. My sister works there and she told me they have "tons of that crap".lol

Yeah schoor metal by me has a huge "surplus" metal department. I'm going to go by there tomorrow a d see what I can find . Thanks GT

Can't go wrong at shoor. Or even IMS in Irvine they usually have a nice scrap bin in the back.
