Got Moo all hooked up to go this morning, cleaned up, battery charged, then I checked the oil and this is what I found.

About 4 quarts too high and grey?
This isn't good!

So much for the sea level club, might have to settle on ground level.

You need to rethink the way you have that boat plumbed, like I told you last weekend, you were dumping water idling away from the ramp. Don't trust that damn bassett T, they get shit in them and stick open. I took the guts out of mine, it's only used as a T now. Call me.

Yeah I know Huh! Maybe I can just make vroom vroom noises, lol
Plan B, got the Pickle on the charger and the Black midget boat crew cleaning it up, Might make to water yet!
It does have a ball valve on it Skip, and nearly closed (Well, NOW, after you said something).
Call you in a minute, my dad called to, apparently, let me listen to him think again.....lol

Bummer Ray ! All jet and vdrive boats with water injected headers regardless if they have a "ball tee" or not should have a positive driver controlled water shut off for the h20 injection function Preferably a lever ball or billet lever type Just a good fail safe ! Tom

That's how my setup is, I don't worry as much, and I also run a dump still.

Ray,
I have a little $20 screen filter before my header valve on White Trash, our race boat had a pressure valve from GIL Marine and a foot operated valve we rigged to the throttle pedal, it was pretty damn idiot proof, but you know what they say (in case you don't, a better idiot is born everyday :sly: )
Get some diesel fuel in there before rust takes over BTW...

Got pressure valves, sand filters, all that on there. Even a ball valve I nearly closed at Elsi when Skip told me I was literally DUMPING water from the headers leaving the dock. (Too late, apparently)
General concensus seems to agree probably intake gaskets, which would explain quite a LOT actually.
Oils being pumped out now (Must I've ever gotten out of this 12 qt system is 10 qts, we're at 14 and still going!). Filters looked good, drained them a bit through a coffee filter and no shavings!
Put some new in it tomorrow, run that for a bit, drain it again, pull the intake for a look see! :sly:
She can't be down for long, OC2 called for a Milk delivery!
My worst fears about the XM cam I used and compression and reversion came true! She's getting a driver mounted control of some sort! These T valves weren't designed for this type of application, methinks!
