Title: Water Bypass Watts Valve...which way to adjust
Post by: TJS Nordic on June 09, 2008, 05:11:46 AM
I got a new watts valve this year. I have not had the boat on the water yet. I should be getting it wet this weekend. Which way do you turn this to decrease the pressure to the engine inlet.  Water at the lake is still cold here so getting in and out of the boat at the sandbar to adjust is a pain. I do not think my arms a long enough to reach it while in the boat.
  Thanks.

clockwise will increase spring pressure thus needing more water pressure to open =less spring pressure less water pressure needed to open
