Title: Water in oil?

Getting ready to pull motor to clean and replace core plugs, pulled the valve covers off for shits and giggles and noticed milkshake oil inside.. any thoughts on where the water could be coming from?

Do you have over transom headers ? If so the water flow has to stop at idle or water will get sucked in through the exhaust due to valve overlap.

Yes I have over transom headers.. Is the idle speed and water ratio controlled by the T valve?

Is the dip stick milky too? It could just becondensation that worked its way up. If your dipstick shows clean oil then your good

Yeah the dipstick oil is all fine no milky oil in the pan either about to replace it since I have the engine out anyways
