Title: Water injected ceramic coated headers
Post by: fastnlight on May 15, 2013, 09:51:16 PM
I have ceramic coated headers that have water injected in them.  Is there any reason other than keeping them cooler and lowering the noise to run water through them since I can blue them (I think)?  Why shouldn't I just run them dry and not risk reversion if I don't care about noise or heat?

Depending on where you boat, cops mite get you for open headers. If you're good with it I say run em dry. Nice not to worie about the water.

I ma going to give you my "Old Man " opinion.

YOU don't care about noise... Fine, Does anyone around you?

These stupid noise laws came about from people being azzholes at the lakes and being obnoxious douches... If people would have just been cool and limited the screaming, noise laws wouldn't exist.

Just like the dipshits with the diesel trucks, the exhaust is just one more thing that is being abused and it's going to screw it up for everybody...

Dry is cool, but the noise gets old quick.

I've been checked for baffles, not just water, twice at the river,(near Laughlin) and once at Big Bear Lake.
