Title: Water leak

I am new to the jet boat thing I have a 78 Kachina with a 468 big block Chevy I have water spraying out between the block and the Berkeley pump mount plate any ideas of why?

Are you able to take a pick to show exactly where?

"Pump mount plate" I'm assuming is between the suction housing and the intake?  ???
Is it where the drive line meets the pump, where the rope seals go?

It's actually right where the aluminum  adapter plate is bolted to the engine  block spraying out between the aluminum and cast iron
