What's it fit?

from time to time I'm sure there are some of us that wonders WTF does this thing fit...well I have a couple of Dizzy's and I can't find what they fit. They've been sitting in a box for a few years and I guess the old age thing is kick'n. Beats the hell out of me what they fit....one is a Mallory Super Mag part # 465 HP. I can't find this # anywhere....the other will be a real fun one to figure out...Accel F105?5....the ? is a 2 or 3 or 8 or 9....can't read it....check out the pics....thanks guys...

Your best bet would be to call the companies and ask them. Both have very unfriendly web sites for doing searches.

I don't know if they work...I wasn't really thinking about selling them.....but then everything has a price ya know....

I really don't know Rod....lol....I guess I should see if the damn thing works or get it repaired if it doesn't....It must have been good when it was put away or it would have been gone along time ago....but like I said....everything has it's price....

From the pics, that Accel distributor also fits BBC/SBC.

if you want to see if it works put the cap on with a wire, hold the end of the wire and spin the mag. watch out cause your gunna get shocked but you will know it works

we just had our super mag II rebuilt and the bottom switched from sbf to bbf cost us 400.oo

i don't think that will happen a mallory mag has a external coil, a vertex will sure shock you though, Jim

Exactly. I just don't know if it requires a "special" coil or just any coil.

Rod, I have had a few Mallory mags, one Mini-Mag, one Super Mag, and an early version of thier Unilite Mag, all 3 of them had ignitor boxes, purpose built mag "coils" the Mini-Mag sure woke up my SBC in the 31
