I can't find much of anything reasonable in the line of 460 exhaust.   I need headers that are water
jacketed for an enclosed engine compartment.

Surely someone makes a reasonably priced high flow exhaust that fits the bill.

What are you guys running for high flow manifolds?   They don't have to flow like
a funny car but better than long bolt logs.

No not the over the transom surf board type.  I'd love it but the wife would shoot me if I told her the sun deck was now an exhaust port  ::)

Anyone have any used Hi Flow for sale?

I added a picture of the original engine so you could see the room available.   I think I could modify for
width but not  height.

Taco'd "a person or people that show up with one lake lice and a family of 50 and cram 3 people at a time on it with no disregard to boating rules or ethics. Usualy crap in toilets and throw shit paper in trash cans. Hang out at the boat ramp like its a swimming hole. Have zero insurance on anything they own and dont give two shits less about your property."

I would consider the chebby adapters.

I'm trying to find out what you guys  have tried and found to work.  I could go spend $3000 on exhaust and still not get what the engine needs.

Then the engine wouldn't be happy and neither would the wife

What enclosed compartment headers have you guys tried and found to work?

That's the question of the ages   ;D

Thank you for that.   Now next issue, will these manifolds clear tall valve covers?  I'm running
a stud girdle.   Any one know for sure if they will clear?

When  you turn your boat on... does it return the favor?

Hardin marine has the new 460 great but $ 1800.00, My personal opinion unless you have all the parts necessary to produce high HP, Torque they are not necessary. I have run similar on my 351 engine honestly can't tell the difference. There are too many variables in boats to pin down one particular componet apples to apples.

I would run a pair of felpro exhaust gaskets NOT SILICONE to these type of logs. If you have the step down snails.... you can cut off the lower part to have 3 1/2 insted of 3.  I run this type with the cut off and gaskets and nice ss tips with 0 problems. http://www.summitracing.com/search/Make/FORD/Engine-Size/7-5L-460/?keyword=fel+pro+exhaust+gaskets

The adaptor shuffle plates to make BBC manifolds work on BBF are very good and the biggest "downside" if it can be considered one  is that they "widen" the engine profile slightly , I used the chart from Eddies web site to help with my decision for my Blown BBC cruiser , as a dealer for nearly all of them including Lightning (not represrented on the dyno results ) I had lots of options available to me I have been very happy with the EMI Thunders. simplicity of installation and rigging as well as the fact that they are almost "cool" to the touch  and have never had reason for regret  Tom
BTW FWIW withstanding the pure weight , one of the best intakes for that motor is actually the Cobra jet iron deal !
