Ok everyone knows im going to be running a 455 this summer in my Fantasy project. I already have the block bored to .40 new restricters installed fresh pistons pressed on my rods,(sounds kinky huh)
A fresh set of "Ka" heads, Dooley 10qt oil pan, Nodular crank and so on.
Now Jim and i have been talking about going with a 460 Ferd and i agree with him.
Why you say cause i dont want to be limited to what i can do with my engine :o
so im here to ask you guy's, who's got extra parts for sale or whatever.
I will be needing motor mounts and headers for sure ;D
Of course if i go this route i will be selling the 455 parts to help fund the start over so if you know anyone who needs parts let me know cause i got the hook up :)

Well I've been contemplating that idea too 2sav.
I've been wanting to post my Chevy stuff in trade for Ford stuff. I gots Chevy 4 point mount, headers, and the rest of the stuff to go with it.
Why you ask? Cause I have a running 460 in my big boat, and I have almost all the blower stuff for a 460. I could sell the big boat and finish a blower motor and have it in the river cruiser.
But you know who told me I would have more fun in the big boat, So I guess I'll keep it.
I vote for keeping the olds and finishing it for next season. Then we can both do a BBF swap ;D

Better motor=$$$$$
Too get a decent motor now adays one has to spend at least $4k just to get something. That's not including mounts, bell housing, and all the work and shit.
Not doing no swap until I can make 550hp.... so it might be a while ;)
-
I would be happy with 550 hp ;D
