Hi guys hoping someone can help me out here... I have an OLDS 455 with a Holley Carb and I am not sure what carb I have? These are the numbers I can see on it...

The carb seemed to function ok, but was leaking fuel from a few gaskets so I am hoping to find out what model I have here so I can purchase a gasket set. Also could anyone recommend a good carb cleaner?

The list number 6r3738b says its an 850 double pumper.

Great thanks for that info! :)
Any idea what model number it may be? When doing a search for Holley 850 double pumper rebuild kit I'm coming up with model 4150 does that sound correct?

Yes it is a 4150. 4150 is the series which the carb is in. Its basically an indication for the bolt pattern and that its a mechanical secondary with 2 metering blocks

I recommend using only Holley brand rebuild kits. That carb has been rebuilt with a non-Holley brand kit (visible by the lock nuts used for the needle and seat), the main problem is the other brand kits use a jam nut to secure the needle and seat that will eventually pull the threads out of the bowl causing it to be worthless. The original Holley system uses a floating nut with a lock screw on top that doesn't use the threads to lock everything down.
Berryman's makes a great carb dip. The main body of the carb will not fit into the 1 gallon can, but you can soak it in the bottom of a bucket and then pour the cleaner back into the original container when done.

Thanks guys for your help! Rebuild kit ordered...wish me luck last time I rebuilt a carb was on my 68 VW bug when I was around 17! LOL
