What gauge wires from fuel tanks to fuel gauge?

I use 12 on all my sending wires.

Gonna remove my hour meter then make a lil Aluminum tab holder bolt it to the block and finally install Fuel gauge in the Hallett. Got sending units in new Imco tanks last year so I wanna use em and not have to use ski flag pole to gauge my fuel lol

I always use the tinned marine 16 gauge for senders. There is virtually zero current.

It is from Ancor. I have been dealing with them going on three decades now. Best wire money can buy. They are a young company not afraid to push the limits.
