Title: What to protect cylinder walls with?
Post by: jarrettolson on October 15, 2013, 02:48:53 PM
Planning on pulling my heads to do a little work on them. Other than a liberal coating in LPS with some trash bags what would you recommend for keeping the cylinders from flash rusting? Boat is cover outside but I live only a couple blocks from the beach and bare metal rusts fast.

theres a generic brand at your local auto parts store.  foggers will get into every nook and cranny to protect from rust.  i fog my motor during winter to help with anti-rust.
