Title: Which coil
Post by: el mojado on March 17, 2015, 06:44:01 PM: So I need to replace my blaster 2 MSD coil. It only has two weekends on it. Oil is coming out from inside the tower. What are some suggestions? 454 with 049 heads. About 10:1 compression. MSD 6A box. 20.5 mini cruiser. Single 750 carb. Air gap manifold. Thanks guys.

Post by: capogniracing on March 17, 2015, 06:49:07 PM: Wouldn't change to different, just buy a new one. Ran a blaster 2 on the blower motor all last season with no problem at all.

Post by: JBASHAM on March 17, 2015, 09:24:46 PM: What kind of distributor are you running? Depending on your setup, if you were to leave the ignition on it could cook the coil and cause it to leak. I blew the top of one last summer...
