I'm undecided on which starter to go with Power Master 9502 or IMI 2902 M price difference between the 2 is $100 which I'm not worried about any input on any other's that worked well Thanks.

I'm looking for a starter to. I have a 454 the starter that came of was staggered mount would I be able to put a straight mount on . I'm looking at the msd 5095

I had great luck with the MSD starter. The only draw back was the price.

MSD starters I haven't done any research just on the price $280

I don't mind the price . I just feel if I'm going to do it do it right the first time

The only thing I'm worried about is the mounting

Well I believe the 3 starters that were mentioned are all good only really difference I see is the IMI can rotate 360 for clearances

My stock starter has staggered mount. I was doing some research and it looks like the block has strait mounting holes and staggered but I'm not 100% sure

Staggered holes maybe for to different flywheels 153 or 168 tooth

I'm just a little picky on the details lol I like for the wire wire connections to be side mounted for easier access

Yes it's a Power master great starter forsure and price is great just doing some research on others before I pull the trigger.

For sure Brian ... I'd go with what u got but new , power master also has rebuild kits too for there starters too👍🏻

The Power master worked great until I had the bilge fill up with water couple season ago then I was having issues but it's finally done now.

Thanks bud years of building never ending spent all last season testing hardware etc on the new setup finally all the hard work payed off.

I think everyone's boats on here are faster then mine . I just got a plane old stock boat . I just wish I had the funds to build it up

Yeah those guys want $325 I bought mine from Chris B1 Racing it costed me $300 but I'll get you the number to this other place that quoted me $250 for a top mount starter

IMI in Whittier I had to machine down the aluminum mounting deal, so the starter would clear the oil pan.

I've been going over the boat checking hardware etc so far found a few issues that would of threw me a curve,loose loader bolts, starter, starter power wire had failed, trailer tongue jack broke, glad I had looked over the boat.
