no gauges
« on: June 27, 2009, 11:36:03 AM »
Hey guys,
I've been laid up for a month or so with my back and now I'm trying to get the boat ready. I had the seats redone and we installed them but now I have no power to the gauges, No tach volts oil or anything. The blower and buldge work but nothing else. Nothing else was done. Any thoughts on where to start looking? Thanks I'm not to good with electrical but I can follow wires. Heres a pic of the motor. I have checked the grounds.

Marty

Check the terminal block and make sure your connections are still good. If thats not it you need to start tracing your wires and checking for damage.

You could always just take the day and replace your 30+ year old wiring harness!

I would check the power supply behind the dash, atleast that has been a problem for me before in the past.

good luck with it ;)

Still stand by my previous suggestion! If one is damaged....
