Title: Winterizing
Post by: Thedogkeeper on September 22, 2015, 03:48:21 PM
Could I please get advice on how to winterize my 460 jet?  I posted the question on Performance boats also and did get one good reply.  Just getting ideas to make it foolproof.

If it's a roller cam, back the rocker arm nuts off so none of your valves are open. Much better on your springs! That and the sta-bil in the tanks, unhook battery etc

Drain the block at the petcocks or plugs above the oil pan rail, x2
unhook lower hose on logs, x2
Might want to oil fog the motor, too
