Would you, could you mix 2 different brands of additive? I've heard that mixing different brands/weights of oil is a no-no.
-
I would do it without blinking an eye!

I can't say that you would have a problem, but why would you want or need to?

I'm using comp cams additive because its easy to get but I have a bottle of Engine pro sitting on my bench. I need 2 for each oil change and the engine pro stuff cost 12.50 and dont want to just toss it.

You're asking this question because you are trying to save a difference of about $7??? :o Pour it in with any other zinc additive.

I personally wouldn't because im weird like that but read the two bottles and compare what's in them. Chances are its the same product just different labeling and bottles. Nowadays oils and additives have to conform to regulations to meet the requirements.
