I'm sure I'll get some crap for this. Trying to see how cheap I can throw a budget runner back together for another project.
Anyone have decent a set of .060 over pistons?
(4.155 bore)

Yup... 396 9:1 mini bumps.

If you have a 69 and later 402 block... just bore it to take 427 std pistons... i got some of those as well in a couple configurations.

If my memory serves me right, it's a 71 402. Has 6 pop ups in it now. #1 was melted(combination of compression, fuel and timing). Cylinder is ok.
What would you charge to bore the pig James?

185 to bore and hone.

you can cut them that far without hard blocking them?? That's good to know.. I have a std 71 402 block in my turd.. I'll have to do that when it's time to refresh it, if I don't scatter it before then!! Lol

Then put a 4" crank in it. std bore 454.
Or a 4.25" stroke for a 482 cu. in.
