HARDCORE BBC 4 bolt main stroker engine 496ci, combination is a Hyd Roller cam set up and designed to run on pump gas fuel

This engine has been professionally built buy us at Hardcore, we have 40 years experience in Hi performance street engines that run on 91oct gas to outright 6 second racing engines that make 3000+HP
This engine was designed for a boat and was built with longevity in mind using the best parts for the budget we had in mind at $8750
Here is the build list for the engine
Block GM GenV
Block was cleaned and magged, mail line checked, bored and hones to 4.310 with a torque plate, block was then square decked
Crank Eagle cast steel 4.250 stroke
Rods Scat forged I beam with ARP 8740 cap screws
Pistons Racetec forged 4032 with 20cc dome
Rings Total Seal plasma moly 1.5mm 1.5mm 3mm
Damper Pro Street 8" with Milodon bolt
Cam Comp Cams Custom Hyd Roller
Lifters Lunati Hyd Roller
Timing Set Comp Cams billet dual roller with torrington thrust bearing
Oil pump Melling M77HV with HD drive
Oil pan Milodon 6QT with pick up
Push rods Lunati 3/8 chrome moly
Heads Hardcore custom built with SI valves and Lunati spring kit
Rockers Scorpion Alum 1.7 ratio
Intake Edelbrock Victor JR
Carb 950 Holley Ultra HP
Distributor MSD ready to run, comes with coil wiring and bracket
Wires MSD 8.5mm
Engine has been dynod at Westech Performance and comes with the dyno sheet

I personally know Andy at Hardcore. He really does know his shit
So long as the engine clearances are on the looser side, I wouldn't hesitate to run it in a boat
Maybe he can share the engine clearances with us

Hi Jim my mistake, i copied and pasted a previous ad of mine from CL for a street rod engine, you are correct they are different, Street has different clearances and ring gaps, boat engines are built like drag race engines or street/strip(i will go back and edit AD
This one is a boat application with correct clearances for Boat application

Ill be glad to steve, ive been designing and building engines for 40 years 300HP to 3000HP and this is what works for us at Hardcore with no problems
street only engines
Main and Rod clearances .0022-.0026
Ring gaps no NOS top .020 2nd .022
Street/Strip/boat up to 700HP
Main and rods .0028-.0030
Ring gaps Top.022 2nd .024
Drag race/Boat over 700HP
Main and rods top .0032-.0035
Ring gaps aspirated .026-028
Nos/blower/turbo increase ring clearances by
700-1100hp .006-008
1100-1300HP .008-010
1300-2500HP. custom gaping depending on applications
The engine we are talking about is set up for the street/strip/boat clearances
