Hardcore Marine has the following engines for sale, they are all short blocks and can be sold as that or can be custom built to complete engines, we have some Budget builds that are in the 450-550HP range and some more expensive that are capable of making 650-HP

Budget BBC Gen IV 474ci short block assembled
Block is a virgin core and cleaned and magged the bored 4.350 and honed to our specs for marine use then square decked, mainline checked for size and alignment then cam bearings and freeze plugs were installed
GM cast Crank 020/020 with Speed Pro performance bearings, GM forged Dimple rods with ARP bolts & Speed Pro Hypertectic Pistons with Mahle Moly rings

short block can be custom assembled complete, we have Oval port heads fully machined with stainless steel 1 piece valves complete with intakes, carburetors , oil pans, distributors for under $5000 ready to run
BBC Gen v 496ci short block (up to 650HP)
Block is a virgin core and cleaned and magged then bored and honed to our specs for marine use then square decked, mainline checked for size and alignment then cam bearings and freeze plugs were installed
Eagle Steel crank with 4.250 stroke and Speed Pro performance bearings, Eagle I Beam forged Rods, Auto Tech 4032 forged pistons and Total Seal rings, Rotating assembly has been dynamically balanced

any of the engines i can make complete i have all the parts needed ready to assemble, i have some very low use GM Marine "394" heads which have had fresh valve job, resurfaced and ported, Intake is a Weiand Stealth and carb is a Demon 750, i have Polished alum tall valve covers angled for wet headers, a MSD distributor with Taylor 9mm wires price is $6500 for the 505 or $6200 for the 496
Ford 460ci long block with cam lifters and DOVE heads
Block is a virgin core and cleaned and magged then bored and honed to our specs for marine use then square decked, mainline checked for size and alignment then cam bearings and freeze plugs were installed
Crank, Rods & Pistons
crank is cast 020/020, forged Rods with ARP bolts, forged TRW pistons and Total Seal rings, Rotating assembly has been dynamically balanced
Heads are DOVE and have new guides installed with stainless 1 piece valves, fresh 3 angle valve job and re surfaced, heads were built with new valve springs and installed on the short block

Short Block Assembly(all short blocks)
Our assembly is done to very strict tolerances, every bearing is installed in the block and rods and measured for correct clearance for the application, Rings are always +.005 over bore size and they are all gaped to our specification per application, all assembly is done with long lasting Brad Penn assembly lube

Hi Andrew yes trades will work, short block is built, heads just came back from machine shop and getting ready to assemble and put on the block, see pics below of short block, we warrant these engines were built correctly but due to the nature of Hi-Perfomance boat engines we are limited to manufactures warranty on new parts
