If you just wants to run it a couple times and flip it the last thing you want to do is build a new short block, much less buy used oval ports and piece together a long block with the existing short block. You'll be in it a few g's real quick for a so so engine either way. I'd look at one of these for your purposesBBC 454 gen IV marine engine $500http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/bpo/5477705954.htmlvia cPro for Craigslist iOS: http://tinyurl.com/CL-iDevice Android: http://tinyurl.com/CL-Android454 Motor $1800http://palmsprings.craigslist.org/bpo/5472547237.htmlvia cPro for Craigslist iOS: http://tinyurl.com/CL-iDevice Android: http://tinyurl.com/CL-AndroidComplete running bbc Chevy 454 $1499http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/bpo/5461621145.htmlvia cPro for Craigslist iOS: http://tinyurl.com/CL-iDevice Android: http://tinyurl.com/CL-AndroidSent from my iPhone using SoCal Jet Boats

No prob man! Makes sense on the future build, was just trying to help you find the "for now" engine Sent from my iPhone using SoCal Jet Boats
