Good question, I had to go look.  The cam bearings in it are used.  I will install a new set for just the cost of the bearings if you want.  I normally grind and wash a block prior to installing cam bearings.

I just pulled a 455 out of my jet boat and am trying to decide if I want to build a bbc from scratch or find a complete motor. Not looking for big HP, just something to get on the water.
