no....i installed a rail kit so i didnt need the 4pt mounts....i sold this before i even blew the motor.  ;D

so anyways...ITS SOLD.  ;)

Sooo..... Whats the cost on a rail kit compared to buying Motor plates?   I still need some and am open to sugestions or info.

you can spend anywhere from $500 (HTP) to $1000 (Lightning) for a production rail kit

you can make your own for the cost of the materials if you have the tools. The rails cost me about $150 for both and about $250 for the plates...ralphs dad cut out the plates from a template....i got a quote to have them laser cut for $100 per plate.

to me, its worth it to spend the extra money if youre building a boat to beat on.....but if its a cruiser, stick with the 4pt's.

nothing up my sleeve ....no plans as of yet what i am going to do. I've had some long talks with some people via phone and PM, but havent got a clue what im gunna do.
