BBF 460 BDS Blower Manifold that was milled out to accommodate a 14-71 blower and o-ringed. has a 1/2" aluminum plate to adapt back to 6-71 or 8-71 blower. 650.00 plus shipping (SOLD)

I don't think you were asking too much, I just managed to score an incredible (and really weird, unforseen) deal in the midst of all this! Limited audience? well, that MAY be the case.
BBF fans, THIS is THE manifold if you want max performance from a blower, particularly with A460 heads. BDS doesn't even make it anymore, let alone polished, but it's their "race" version of what they make today, which is completely diffferent and I'll post pics of why the difference this week.

I don't know propless... The chevy stuff is always going to be around ;) but the bbf bds manifold may not >:D

Here's the closer pics of the manifold I scored. Should outline the differences. This is a standard BDS BBF blower manifold, nowhere near as slick, strong, or low profile, as Fantasy's. Had he lowered the price on me that much a couple months ago, it'd be MINE instead of this one!!! It is a sweeter deal, and add an intercooler on top of his........... :thumbup: :beer: :thumbup: :beer:

That last pic shows the peaked floor that eliminates puddling of fuel when operating at idle or part throttle. Fantasy's manifold has this feature as well.
Show me even one Chebbie blower manifold with this feature and ask HDRider what it means.........(Stuck on a lake with a blown seal off the pop-off valve due to a backfire when lifting)

will trade for fj40 parts - possibly 6 lug rims and tires, auto trans(not sure which model yet), stock sbc (did i just ask for a chebbie? :-[)

i dont know the difference between the heads. i glanced through the "ford heads" thread the both of you replied in and i'll need to give the casting numbers off mine.

is it a matter of port misalignment or physically will not sit on A460? will you please advise why it wont fit and which head will it fit? thanks

Will fit heads that have the traditional OEM intake port layout and bolt pattern: C8VE-A, C8VE-E, C9VE-A, D0VE-A, D0OE-R, D1VE-AA, D2VE-AA, D2OE-AB, , D2VE-A2A, D3VE-A2A, E6TE-DA, Edelbrock Aluminum, Blue Thunder CJ Aluminum, Blue Thunder CJ Iron, TFS Street/Strip, ProComp, Ford Racing A429, Ford Racing SCJ, Kaase P51.

What are you going to do w/ the L/C? I'm half owner with my brother on one. I built it from the ground up. I'll tell ya right now, axles and stuff are twice as beefy as Jeep. I built the stock motor with the split header, the holley 350, the full advance distributor and I went to Clay Smith and had a cam ground. We were looking for a flat tourque curve. I have a set of engine bearings if yer gonna go there

it's going to be a daily driver for my son and occasional hunting truck. don't know what were going to do with the 6 cyl.
