the thicker gasket, is that used becuase the manifold is now milled to a different degree than stock BBF heads? sorry for the dumbass questions but im new to the whole ford deal

The intake will be off the motor next week, dont have time to pull it this week becuase i will be out of town until saturday. I will be able to ship it or make arrangements on monday. sorry, i should have stated that in the posting. :banghead: hope you dont mind waiting a week!

ya that is correct. It is shaved slightly to fit the angle of the aluminum heads it is on currently. a thicker gasket should make up the difference. I can call my machinest and ask how much was milled and how thick of a gasket should make it ok to run with factory ford heads. Or possible worst case scenario maybe have a machinest mill it to fit the heads you are using. should be pretty cheap to do.
