I am listing a 450+hp 5.3 engine for sale. This engine will come complete ready to run from carb to oil pan with an ignition system. I say 450+ because the engine was dynoed with stock 243 heads and made 450@6500rpm. Since the dyno day i have added trick flow gen x 205 heads and the engine makes a good bit more power. I would say it makes somewhere in the neighborhood of 475-500 hp.

5.3 block standard bore
Scat Forged I beam rods with ARP Rod bolts
Speed Pro Hypereutectic flat top pistons that are flycut
Stock crank/standard size
High volume oil pump
Brian Tooley Racing (BTR) Stage 4 NA LS1 cam Specs are (235/242 .621/.595 111LSA)
Trick Flow Gen X 205 Cylinder heads were freshened up last year
Trick Flow Pushrods
Edelbrock Victor JR Carbureted intake manifold
Felpro MLS gaskets (.041 compressed thickness)
Custom built and specced Holley 750 4150 carburetor (flows 775)
Engine is just over 11:1 compression

I built the engine for my jet boat and it has ran great. It has always been turn key and it has never had a problem. Engine was built in March of 2017, however i had a kid in June of 2017 and the boat has had very little run time on it. The engine was dynotuned at Westech Performance in Mira Loma and made 450hp and 400ft lbs BEFORE the trick flow heads.

I have videos and copies of the dynosheet for anyone interested.

The engine made 638hp on a 150 shot of nitrous, very little nitrous use (less than 5 pounds through the engine).

The rings are gapped for the nitrous use, i just didnt get to use it very much. I am selling because i am building a Turbo motor.

Not really interested in trades. The engine might have a total of 25 hours of run time on it. I am asking 5000 obo
