Last Sunday at the Long Beach Hi Performance Swap Meet there was a 460 Ford Boat Engine for sale. Does it belong to any one of the Members here??? Does anyone on here know who was selling this engine??? I believe the seller is out their often selling boat parts.
I may be interested in it. I have one cylinder with heavy rust pitting after cleanup on my boat engine. I was thinking it would be quicker to replace my engine so I could use my Jet Boat this Summer. I can rebuild mine later in the year.

Its not mine but I saw it and actually went back several times to look at it.. if you figure out who it was and decide to pass post up the info. I'm kicking myself for passing on it.

i saw it too, hade dove heads and i think it was a dove block as well :-\ was gunna buy it just to have it but every motor that i have seen bought used was nothing but a time bomb..... i guess it just a crap shoot, good luck

Are you stuck on having a Ford Motor? I have a good friend selling a nice relable freshly rebuilt BBC that will but out about 450 HP. PM me if you're interested.

Yes I need a Ford 460. My Jet Boat has a 460 Ford in it. To make the switch to Chevy would be $$$ I don't have right now.

How much are you wanting to spend ? Im parting out my boat :thumbdown: got rotten stringers and sub floor too much to replace all and paint. Got a 460 complete from carb to oil pan also got hardin motor mounts with it. Have hardin logs with snails and a set of logs with bassett o/t pipes for it too
