The snails have a slight offset bolt pattern so they are either slightly leaned in or out depending on your look. I want 450 and they have been sitting since polished last year...snails still wrapped. I had old ford blue painted on the HM but when they were buffed some of the paint came off...Also the step down on the snail has already been removed and finished for a 3 1/2 exhaust but you can ad small piece of hose to either side(snail or tip) to work with 3, 3 1/2 or 4".

where did you get yours polished?

Post by: Your Mom on January 28, 2013, 06:48:11 PM: I try and do most myself...But I have used a local shop in San Diego...Romeros polishing. He told me to use flour/micro towel afterward for handling.
