Title: Free BBC Moroso valve covers

Changing valve covers on one of our motors and won't be using the old gold anodized Moroso valve covers.  Free, good shape, but no shipping.  Pick up here in Huntington Beach.

Used gold moroso covers on my Daytona 30 years ago.  They are light but susceptible to dents and scratches. Also use the good thick cork gaskets and don't tighten down on the bolts without using some spreader bars otherwise they will bend at the base flange and leak..... Besides that they're great and the price is outstanding!!!

I'll try and take some pics of both this weekend.  The new motor should be in the kids 19' by then.  It was a real sh_thole of a boat when we brought it home, the back half was actually inside a compost heap when we found it.   A real "treasure".

Both boats will be pressure fed this winter.  Mine (20') will get the blower and EFI back and I'm giving the boys my twin turbo PFM for their boat.  They wanted the 6-71 but I'm afraid that the water cops would tag them instantly with Bassets and a blower.

One Day we will make a trip. Dan was thinkin on getting rid of the JEEP,cant keep up with the Rock Buggies all his friends have. Last time it took us 45 mins to get in there, when the rock buggies took about 15 mins. It almost takes the fun out of it but we will see. ;D
