Title: Fresh 468 shortblock kit $1400
Post by: obnoxious001 on February 09, 2009, 01:06:02 PM
I have all the pieces for a mild 468 shortblock if someone wants to do it themselves and save some money. 2 bolt block freshly bored and honed to 4.310" (actually 4.311" for marine use), new hypereutectic pistons mounted on freshly resized GM rods and Sealed Power moly rings, assembly precision balanced by one of the best using degreed GM balancer and new flexplate. I will include all new Clevite rod and main bearings, rear main seal, and new cam bearings. All the legwork is done, $1400, some assembly required.

If you don't want to put it together yourself, PM for quote depending on how complete you want it.

It's a MK IV 2 bolt block.  Actually I don't think the Gen 5 & Gen 6 blocks come in a 2 bolt version?

You are able to scroll down while in the post screen and pick up more quotes (the button stays there while in the post screen), just have not figured out how to page down if it changes pages though...   ???

Welcome to the jungle  >:D

No shit Ralph.

Hey Barry, when we were talking today I was wondering how you knew some of us riffraff from up here in the Great Soggy North were thinking about Parker in October.... Now I know... Welcome to the site.... you'll love it here.  Good folks (well, except for a few of them  ::))

Gents, as Ralph mentioned.  Barry is a hell of a standup good guy.  Won't sell you sumthin you don't need and will help you out on the techy stuff too.  In fact, he's currently building a motor for a certain POS Brendella that I'm confident is gonna be way nicer than the boat it's bolted in.

Welcome Barry..........john

What would compression be with a set of '049 ovals (Mortec listed as 122cc chamber)?

Has it been assembled yet?

PM sent  ;D
