How much water in your bilge ?

At Elsinore West Marina for the first time with the new float, backed it in still on the trailer, 10 mins pull it back out and 1/2" of water around the pump and 1/2" of water on outside of the right stringer which is higher up than the pump ?

Was the boat running on the trailer? And not trying to be a smartass but check all your hoses and get the home depot hose off of their and get you some good quality hose... just a matter of time before that stuff ruins a good weekend on the water...

Engine off or running same thing, dried it out between tests, can't see where the water is coming from around the pump but next to the stringer it's coming from the area under the right rear motor mount bolt behind the stringer plate, the clear hose is for the bilge pump that exits above the water line on the transom

Jet boats leak. That being said it's good to know where it's leaking and how much. Silicone helps.

Easier way to find the leak is park on a slope or jack up the front of your trailer. Put the plugs in and fill it with the hose a few inches. You'll see it leaking out.

Packing at the shaft is supposed to drip a little. Everything else can be addressed.

Sounds like a good place to start, filling it with water to find the leak, just seems like a lot of water in such a short time to take on when it's still on the trailer and not floating on its own, don't want to see her under water
