Title: fuel pickup
Post by: trmn8ter on June 07, 2010, 01:00:31 PM
does anybody sell a 1/2 inch stock style fuel pickup for the older jet boats? 12 gallon aluminum tanks. My buddy has a old hallet with a pretty stout 460 in it and it does not have enough fuel volumel. Ive never seen one and told him hed have to pull the tanks out and have a fitting welded in but i thought i would ask..

thanks in advance

PM CJ222 or TJSNordic......Send some pics and measurements of what you're after. One or both of them could probably fab up a set in a heartbeat in any material imagineable.

CJ222 should be closer for ya tho.

Yup. Most of these boats have very small pickups. Some kind of tube and fitting will need to be welded in.
