Why is that,, Gen 5 and 6 pans are interchangeable, and I can see by the photo that it is a Gen 5/6 pan,, note the notches for the two remote oil cooler fittings in the block in front of the oil filter.

Honest mistake...was under the impression that gen five was one bolt less than gen 6 or something, but you are the man to correct me when im wrong...sorry for the mistake!

The timing covers have a different number of bolts between Gen 5 and 6, 10 bolt vs 6 bolt
