I have a mild 540ci na motor with single 1050 dominator running 91 octane in an 18ft eliminator bubble deck with 2- 12 gallon tanks Cruising between 3500-4500rpm what do you think the mpg would be? Just curious to see about how far I will be able to go before I would have to break out the paddle and start rowing!

With my old set-up, that was a 468 Chevy with a TR and Holley 600's I would get around 2 miles per gallon. So I would say probably similar mileage at the 3,500 RPM level.

Cool, thank you!

The 598 we had in the flat bottom with 2 11 gallon tanks on av with a 1250 would run dam to dam and back in Parker and still have a little bit left for hot laps

Thanks! Do you happen to know roughly how many miles that is? Maybe 20 miles from dam to dam?

At Parker, dam to dam is 15 miles, according to the river miles chart
Around 30 miles round trip.
My sled, 454/Berkeley gets about 2.5 mpg cruising.
