yea, i have block rods and crank. If we can get pistons i can have it machined and we can put it together one weekend. Whatchu got in mind? Prolly still find time to take a spin in the lake too.

i have 7 good pistons in the motor i got. i also got some other goodies like airgap intake and demon cabs.

i want a motor that is going to work! i had this motor done at a shop so that i would have reliablity. my boat is too big to make real fast. so stock bore maybe slightly over if needed. A high rev marine cam and that is about all i think i need.

i would like to enjoy a boat rather than always having to wrench on it. Do you have a good machine shop there? i can send you a check and the pistons if you want. i could come out there for a weekend or whatever i am ready for anything. I just want my boat to work.

i found a guy who has a complete motor that is running right now and he will let it go for 1k. how much do you think we can save if we do it ourselves.

thanks again for all the help.

you have big ovals and small, or peanut, ports like the ones on ebay. The big ovals are just that, more oval then round. The rectangles are a little bigger and have rounded corners. You can check casting numbers on mortech.com , it tells chamber cc, port shape/volume and what it was used on.....and when
