How much you want for the motor. My motor in the current boat is good just the block where the freeze plugs are seems to be eaten away quite a bit.

I was kidding Jason! ;D I have to leave that 455 alone for two reasons. 1) I can't leave Glasscutter all alone out there as the only idiot on here with a running one, and 2) I watched Nordie pull his Mohawk out swapping out the 460 for a BBC in his boat......... :screwy:
But PM Glasscutter or Tom at JBP. I also seem to remember Marcsrollin mighta had something laying around, and I'm quite sure Jim Brocks prolly got a few of 'em!
Are the expansion plugs leaking? :sly: That would surprise me. Never seen a block rotting out around the freeze plugs.

I have never seen that either. I replaced all the plugs and had to go to rubbers on to of them and silicone the crap out of them. All I need to do now is take it to the lake and see what she does. Just thinking of a back up plan in case I flood the back of the boat again Thank god for Bilige pumps and my pops who was riding along when I lost the first two plugs :o. Did you located the Diverter you were interested in getting rid of?
Thanks Ray have a great Turkey day! ;D

Not sure why but the Olds guys seem to frequently start with 425 cranks and machine them for 455 builds. Again not sure why.

Because the 425 crankshaft is forged.
